After several years of research, the school faculty developed a standards-based report card. The report card allows teachers to highlight areas of strength and areas for improvement for each student in each area of the curriculum. For example, seven to eight areas of mathematical content and practice are assessed. We have recently revised the format of the reports to align with the OCS Benchmarks in Math and Language Arts.
The report cards emphasize the importance of student effort and perseverance in order to build successful learners. Report cards are issued three times each year and are supplemented by mid-term progress reports.
Samples of the report cards are available at the school office.
