Beginning with the 2018-2019 school year, we will be modifying the tuition payment system. In order for our school to qualify for scholarship funding resulting from the “TO TEACH WHO CHRIST IS “ campaign we must participate in the program. Potentially, being able to draw on the archdiocese scholarships can help us recruit and retain students in our school.
The program is two-fold. First, the regular tuition collection will be handled by Mrs. Rosenbaum in conjunction with the FACTS company. We will have additional options for tuition payment. Parents will be able to have payments withdrawn automatically from a checking account, continue to submit checks to the school office, or use a credit card. (An additional charge will be applied to invoices using credit cards.) The second feature of the program will unify requests for financial assistance under a single information form/decision process. Many of our families are familiar with the process used at most Catholic High Schools.
Thanks to all the families who attended the FACTS tuition information session. As you know, the Office of Catholic Schools recommends this process in order for our school to qualify for any archdiocese scholarships that might be available.
Please look through the “tutorial” here. Hopefully, it will make it easy for you to set up your FACTS account. We are asking that all families complete the process before the end of May so that we can begin to enter the data we will need for the start of the new school year. Remember, there is annual administration fee of $40 for each family. Families who are able to make their entire payment in one lump sum are exempt from the administration fee.
You may also use the same account to apply for financial aid. The tab at the top of the FACTS homepage will take you to the application. We are able to offer a limited amount of financial aid to those families who are determined to be eligible by the FACTS guidelines. There is an additional one-time fee of $25 to submit the financial aid application. If you are interested, we ask you to complete that application as soon as possible, so we can make determinations of scholarship amounts.
If you have questions or need help completing the process, please reach out to the school office. We can walk you through any rough spots.
