Frequently Asked Questions

What time does school start and end?
Students enter at 7:55, the school day starts after prayer and announcements at 8:05. PreK dismisses at 2:35 and K-8 dismisses at 2:45

Is there extended day and what times are those?
Yes! Extended day is offered M-F from 2:45-5:30, and morning care is offered from 6:30-7:55. We bill from the office every quarter hour

What sports are available?
Boys and Girls: Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Lacrosse (club) Running (Club) Golf

What “Specials” are offered to extend the curriculum?
PE 2 days per week (Students wear gym uniforms to school on those days, gym shoes may be worn each day
Music 1 day per week
Art/Library 1 day per week
Spanish 1 day per week
SEL 1 day per week (Social Emotional Learning— developing skills and strategies for navigating stressers, and building positive self-esteem

My child has special needs, can you accommodate?
It varies, we do offer academic support in our SKY Room to help accommodate 504s and have a Title 1 program for students with Chicago zip codes. The SKY Room program offers both remedial and enrichment support for students. Our aim is that each student in the school will participate at some level in the SKY Room

Is there a discount for multiple children?
Yes, we do offer a multi student discount.

My family is not Catholic, can my child attend your school?
Yes, we accept students from all faiths. We do teach Religion daily and students attend Monthly Mass during school as a class. We also offer all the sacraments for students as a part of our parish sacramental preparation program.


My child is 3 on September 15th, can they attend the 3yr preschool class?
No, we follow state mandated age guidelines for age on September 1st

If I enroll in Preschool, will my child be guaranteed a place for next year?
Yes! And every year after!

Do you offer any financial aid?
Yes, we offer a needs based CARITAS Scholarship through the Archdiocese.

What clubs or extracurricular activities do you offer?
Band, Craft Class, Creative Writing, Lacrosse, Lego Club, Reading Club, Running Club, Yoga Club, Scouts, Spanish Club

How do you handle discipline at this school?
We take a restorative approach to discipline with a focus on reflection and growth.

How much is the registration fee?
$100 per student but no more than $200 for families.

How much is tuition and what are the fees?
Tuition for the 23-24 school year was $5,350 per student. While the budget for 2024-2025 is not yet finalized, we anticipate an increase of about $200 per student for the next school year.

Is there a discount for paying full tuition at the beginning of the year?
Yes there is a discount for paying tuition in full at the beginning of the year.

Can I pay in installments?
Yes, tuition pay plans are customized on the FACTS website and usually are set up for monthly payments.

What opportunities are there for parent involvement?
We have a very active Family School Association that plans activities and raises funds to support the school. FSA enlists the help of Room Parents for each class who help with communication and planning/implementation of activities. We have opportunities for parent lunch monitors to assist with lunch time activities. In addition we are always looking for parents to help coach, and assist with our athletics program.

Are you a National Department of Education “Blue Ribbon School?”
Our school was awarded the national Blue Ribbon school award, based on consistently high test scores and innovative programs.
