School Board Overview
Purpose
The School Board serves in an advisory capacity to the school administration, offering guidance grounded in integrity, faith, and a commitment to excellence. Our mission is to support a strong academic and moral foundation for all students while promoting the overall vitality of the school community.
Our Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly School Board meetings
- Provide insight and perspective from the parent community
- Communicate school-related feedback to the administration
- Establish clear meeting norms, objectives, and priorities
How We Support the School Community
- Welcoming new families through the Ice Cream Social
- Delivering welcome balloons and yard signs to new families
- Assisting with the planning and execution of the Germazing 5K
- Supporting Open House events and initiatives
- Coordinating fundraising efforts, including the monthly tuition raffle
- Volunteering on school committees and participating in school activities
What the School Board Does Not Do
To ensure clarity of role and proper governance, the School Board does not:
- Exercise authoritative or administrative decision-making power
- Make curricular or instructional decisions
- Address or intervene in student behavioral matters
- Hire, evaluate, or terminate staff members
