On January 27, 2021, she will be installed by Chief Judge Timothy C. Evans of the Circuit Court of Cook County as the new President of the Arab American Bar Association of Illinois during its 30th anniversary ceremony. The keynote speaker who will be attending and making remarks during this live virtual event is Governor J.B. Pritzker. Also, attending is world-renowned Hon. Frank Caprio.

Marvet graduated from St. Germaine in 1996 and is a lawyer at MSD Injury Lawyers, LLC. She was the recipient of the 2015 Law Bulletin Publishing Company “Top 40 Attorneys Under 40” Award. Marvet has received the Superlawyers “Rising Star” Award from 2014 through 2019. Marvet states, “I knew I wanted to be a lawyer after a mock trial in my fourth grade class at Germaine.” Congratulations, Marvet! We are very proud of you!
