I am thrilled to be joining the St. Germaine community as Assistant Principal and working alongside the dedicated faculty and staff! I was born in New Orleans, LA, and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. In Lexington, I attended a private school, Sayre, from pre-k through 12th grade. While in school my mom was my fourth-grade teacher, and my dad was the high school principal! They just retired this year after 38+ years in education. I have a twin sister, Sophie, who lives in NYC, and my older brother and sister are also twins! After high school, my sister and I both returned to Louisiana and attended Loyola University New Orleans where I earned a B.A. in English with a concentration in writing. While in college I traveled to Belize, twice, to help facilitate a summer sports and education camp. I was also a coach’s assistant for the Men’s and Women’s basketball teams. After graduating, I moved to Chicago to earn a Master’s in Education at Loyola through the LU CHOICE program. I have been at St. Nicholas of Tolentine for the past five years teaching fifth, seventh, and eighth grade, coaching basketball, and serving on the leadership team. I am currently enrolled in a second Master’s program for Administration and Leadership, which will conclude in the summer of ‘22. I am excited to become a Germainiac and look forward to meeting everyone in the school community.
