Principal’s Corner

Our new school year is well under way! We’re happy to see both our returning students and our new friends who will be joining us for the first time this year. We are especially glad to welcome our three and four year old pre-schoolers. These, our youngest students, add so much energy and enthusiasm to our school community. We look forward to helping them and all of our students to grow in knowledge of God and of their world as this year progresses.

Our theme for this year is “Just Keep Swimming”. Dory, the animated Pixar star of Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, could well be the ideal spokesperson to reinforce our focus on perseverance and pride in our work. (For more information, please read the Growth Mindset and Blended Learning sections under the Our Curriculum tab.) We’re hoping that Dory will become a model for our students to keep trying to accomplish difficult tasks and to be willing to explore all kinds of learning with enthusiasm.

We are looking forward to a great year, filled with exciting new things to learn.

We hope that visitors to our website will see for themselves what we already know: St. Germaine is an outstanding school community filled with vitality, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for learning. Our school community strives each day to live the priority we’ve established: to be a place that constantly focuses on Enlightening Minds and Enriching Lives. Evidence of this priority abounds in the culture of our school, in the happy smiles of our students and faculty and in the variety of activities we provide. We hope that you will see this commitment in the pages of this website — but we are sure that you will see it when you come to visit us. We certainly welcome you to be our guests at the school. Please stop by to see why we are so proud of St. Germaine!
