I graduated from St. Germaine in 2013. I attended Mother McAuley high school, where I did the musicals and participated in chorus, and I graduated in the top ten students of my class. I am now a sophomore at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am currently in the actuarial science program there and I am loving all the crazy intense math classes I’ve been involved in so far! I have my St. Germaine math teachers to thank for encouraging me when it came to working hard in math class.
I recently attended a service trip through Xavier over spring break to Catalina Island in California. Here, my group of twelve Xavier students and one faculty member worked with the Catalina Island Conservancy to help maintain the hiking trails and remove invasive plants. This trip opened up my eyes about the endless number of ways we can help the earth.
