The St. Germaine School Board consists of 7 parent representatives that act as an advisory board to the principal and pastor to help develop practices that enable the school to reach its goals. Members of the board serve 3 year terms. The board meets monthly to provide legislative action updates and organize various events throughout the school year that help build community.
The School Board By-Laws include this summary of its purpose:
“The St. Germaine School Board, realizing that it shares in the teaching mission of the Church, shall have as its primary concern the vision to create a Christian educational community where human culture and knowledge, enlightened and enlivened by faith, is shared among the teachers and students in a spirit of freedom and love.
Working in close collaboration with the pastor; its executive officer, the principal; and hearing its many publics, the school board shall develop policies that will enable the school to reach its agreed upon goals.”
