A Night on the Town

What’s all the BUZZZZZZ?

Everyone is talking about “A Night on the Town.”

Exactly what is it—and who’s invited?

For the past twenty years, we’ve closed our celebration of Catholic Schools Week with a Parents’ Night Out party. This year, we’ve decided to make this “a night on the town” for everyone who supports Catholic Education in all its forms at St. Germaine! We’d love to meet any of our parishioners—those who have had students in our school or religious education programs and those who know the value of forming our young people in their faith.

We especially would like to invite parents of the alumni of our school or religious education program to join us to do a little “bragging” about how well our students have done!  Alumni (over 21, of course) are also welcome to join us—and let us know how you’re doing.  We’ll even have a special raffle prize basket for anyone who shares great news about our graduates!

Do you remember FUN days at St. Germaine?  We know you have a lot to share about the successes your children have experienced in the years since they  graduated!  It’s been a while since we’ve been together to brag about our success stories!

We’d love to have you join us at our TWENTIETH annual Parents’ Night Out Party at Bourbon Street on January 20, 2018.  (Buffet, beer and wine will be served). Advance tickets are $30 per person  ($35 “at the door”).  Many of the teachers will be at the event.  They’d love to hear how their students are doing!

The goal for this event is to raise funds to support the wonderful tradition of Catholic Education in all its components at St. Germaine Parish.  We have seen several of our local parish schools struggle financially over the past few years.  Our school is a blessing to St. Germaine Parish and the community of Oak Lawn.  We need to be pro-active so that we can continue to be strong.

Joining us on January 20th will help us to accomplish this goal.  It will give you a chance to brag about all of the great accomplishments in your life!

If you are unable to join us, you can still support our educational programs by becoming a sponsor.  Details are below.

We hope to see you on January 20th so we can “catch up” on everything that’s new!  Spread the word–and bring a few friends!

With rising expenses and fewer students, it is becoming financially more difficult for our programs to make ends meet.  If you are not able to join us for the “Night on the Town,” you can still lend your support for our programs.

We are planning to list individual family sponsors of the event.  A booklet will be available that lists any of our parishioners who are able to make a donation to support Catholic Education.  Since our colors are “blue and gold,” we’ll list BLUE sponsors who make a donation of any amount up to $50.  We’ll list GOLD sponsors who make a donation of more than $50.  We hope that we can count on your generosity in supporting Catholic Education at St. Germaine Parish.

Print this page with the form below for donations.
