Sarah was a student at St. Germaine from 1st to 8th grade and graduated in 2000. She attended high school at Harold L. Richards and college at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, where she got a B.A. double major in Administration of Justice and English. Sarah is a combat veteran, having served in Afghanistan with the US Army. She currently works for the US Forest Service, Ozark-St. Francis National Forests in Arkansas as a timber resource technician and wildland firefighter. Before working in Arkansas, Sarah worked for the Forest Service in Colorado and Wyoming. Sarah is grateful for having spent her elementary school years at St. Germaine for the small class sizes, team sports programs, and supportive teachers and coaches. A favorite memory of Sarah’s at St. Germaine’s is spending time in the school library, discovering new books to bring home and read for fun. Sarah currently lives in Russellville, Arkansas and enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, running half marathons, cooking, spending time with friends and spoiling her beagle, Daisy.
